Descenders is a game developed by RageSquid and published by No More Robots. It was released on Steam Early Access on February 9, 2018, on Xbox Game Preview on May 15, 2018, and on the Discord Store on November 15, 2018. The game graduated from Early Access/Game Preview occurred on May 7, 2019.
In January 2020, releases for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch were announced. The release window is scheduled for June 2020, but this is subject to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Around March/April 2020, the Discord version of the game was retired. People owning the game on that platform are encouraged to contact the developers with proof of purchase for a Steam copy.
